Scientists at the University of Illinois recently analyzed 45 studies and 12,273 reports on relationships and narrowed down their findings into five strategies for keeping the bond strong with your significant other. According to the pros, here are the best strategies to include in your relationship game plan:
1. Communication is key, start talking! If you're sad tell your partner they'll know how to comfort you and help you through whatever is bothering you. 2. Find happiness. when you're mad more than likely your partner is going to feel the same way because of how you may treat them. Being positive makes things better.
3. Divide and conquer. Taking part in shared responsibilities reminds each other that you're both committed.
4. Change things up a bit. Don't do the same usual boring activities that you both do together. If you guys like going to the park alone, invite some friends to go with for a bit of change.
5. Don't assume that your partner knows exactly what is going on in your mind when it comes to them. Tell them how you feel about them. Also support them with all of their endeavors. Just doing that alone lets them see that you are fully into this relationship.

In order for your relationship to be successful, the first thing you need to do is try. By just not trying to be there is a relationship 100 percent will deteriorate it.
